Shared Activities
At the beginning there were simply shared activities like playing soccer together or trips to the Isar or to the Olympia Park. During these events and in many talks with the refugees it soon became clear that, quickly followed by learning german, the best way to help them would be to provide them with jobs.
Summer 2015
Hundreds of „Münchener" (inhabitants of Munich) greeted the arriving refugees with „welcome" signs and cheers at the central station. The employees of the IT and Management Consulting company „Netlight", located in Munich, began early on looking for ways to extend that welcome to their new neighbors.
